Becoming An Organic Food Snob

I never realize what a mom I am until I try to think about what's new in my life. The answer is pretty much nothing that anyone would actually want to hear about. My kid's are getting deeper and deeper into toddlerhood, and the stubbornness that comes with it. So that's been wild...

They have also been eating their fill of fruits and veggies, thanks to this new program we've signed up for. It's called The Organic Box. Basically, for a set fee every week, you get a box of locally grown or fair trade organic produce delivered to your door. You can customize your box, which is great because I think we eat enough bananas to feed a small country. It's been wonderful so far. I can't believe what a difference there is in the taste! I feel like I hadn't had spinach until I had the spinach they left on my doorstep. Incredible. Even the fruit tastes fruitier. I'm really happy to be avoiding pesticides and whatnot, and also that I'm able to say, in a really snooty voice that we eat organically, which is always a plus.

I feel like I should put up some pictures of our food right about now, but I have to admit that I don't even think about that until I've eaten every last crumb. Sorry! I'm sure you'll live.
